Chicken Karela Recipe

 

Ingredients:

(1) 1/2 kg Karela (Bitter Gourd) (cut in round shape)
(2) 4 chicken pieces chopped
(3) 2 medium onion (medium dice)
(4) 1 cup Oil
(5) 1 chutki turmeric powder
(6) 1 tsp Red Chili powder
(7) Half tsp Salt
(8) 1 Glass water
(9) 1 tsp Coriander powder
(10) 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
(11) 2 medium tomatoes (cut in medium dice)

Directions:

Firstly cut the Bitter Gourd in round shape add 1 tsp of salt and leave it about 30 minutes.after 30 minutes wash it with Water.now add oil in pot heat up the oil now add  bitter gourd and fry it until it gets golden brown colour.now add  bitter gourd fryed oil in sperate bowl . add onion in that oil  and  fry it until it gets golden brown colour .now add chicken fry it for 2 minutes on medium to low flame.now add Ginger Garlic paste mix it well .now add tomatoes,salt, Coriander powder,red chili powder, turmeric powder and  mix it well .now cover it for 5 to 6 minutes on low flame.after 5 to 6 minutes uncover the pot mix it now add fried bitter gourd and mix it now cover it for 10 to 12 minutes on low flame.after 10 to 12 minutes uncover the pot mix it well .Are Chicken Karela is ready now garnish it with 2 green chilies and serve it with chapati and enjoy it.
